By-Laws

  • Faithful Scholars offers accountability assistance, guidance, documentation, and support to homeschooling families through being a corporate entity maintaining a professional relationship with you, your school district, and, when applicable, your State Board of Education.
  • Our focus is in SC, but we currently serve families in SC, NC, GA, CT, TX, AL, and FL as our families move out of state but wish to continue receiving support, guidance and documentation from FS.
    • Faithful Scholars MEETS your legal requirements for homeschooling in SC.
    • FL -we have a certified FL teacher on staff for assessments
    • If you are a non-SC resident be sure that you meet your state legal standards.

  • Faithful Scholars’ purpose is to allow our members the least restrictive home school environment while maintaining your privacy and ensuring members’ understanding of legal compliance and how to meet it using the approach of your choice.
  • We are dedicated to offering real time communication and real life advice
  • Faithful Scholars does not supply families with books, curriculum, or a curriculum plan, but we do have free books/curriculum to be browsed and picked up any Wednesday between 10am and 2pm at our home office in Fort Mill, SC.  We do not ship.
  • Submit grades for  grade 12 by/before May 31st (extensions possible ask)
  • Submit grades for grades 9-11 by/before June 10th (extensions possible ask)
  • No records/reports are required for K
  • For SC residence, grades 1-8 create, maintain, and keep daily, mid, end of year records, and portfolio at home in personal files
  • Complete an end of year Compliance Form at the end of your 180 days
  • None of the information or opinions on our website, e-mails, or phone conversations should be taken as legal advice (although we do have a lawyer on retainer).
  • It is within the rights of Faithful Scholars to terminate any membership at any time with no reason given.
